These bearing were replaced with stock 702/703 bearing that were WPC treated. Also replaced the rod bolts with ARP ones (main reason for digging in). Will be running straight 40 weight Redline racing oil as this is going into a race car.
Here are the bearings. Cylinder 1 on the right, 8 on the left. Top bearings are on the bottom, bottom bearings on the top (just to confuse you). Bearing 4 has some serious wear on it.
Ouch. I'll add those to the photo registry. But before I do, when you labeled them 1-8 -- is that assembly order, or firing order?
Assembly order would be: 1&2, 3&4, 5&6, and 7&8 on the same journal.
Firing order would be: 1&5, 2&6, 3&7, 4&8 on the same journal.
