Terry Burger pushed that tranny on his RB turbo 135 and blew his motor at Shift Sector after the tranny free-revved. Prem was the first 6AT with the single turbo and after a year of trying to get his trans built, he gave up and sold his car for a new M5. I hear CupertinoSteve is doing ok but I didn't know if he raced his. The main issue is on the 4-5 shift. Most of the time the trans just won't complete the shift so you can't participate in events like Shift Sector or NoFlyZone because you're done at 135mph with a lot more runway to go.

Looks like 6AT is the biggest limit on N54. How does the new 8AT hold up with heavily modified N55(let's say a lot torque)? Anyone?
