Some people have driven the new M3 and were dissapointed to find it was not a monster, whilst others have driven it and said it was 'everything' they always wanted in an M-car. I think its a better all round M-car than the E46 M3, and would certainly have chosen the E92 M3 rather than the E46 M3 CS that we also drove in comparison.

It is becoming more and more clear to me that the E92 M3 is perhaps the true successor to the old
It seems to have much more of an all round GT character (refinement, power, size, versatility) than its ancestors, but objectively still offers fantastic performance
Since this is going to be my main car (i.e. +2hrs/day av. speed 15 mph) I'm really not too unhappy about this either...
