Even though RFTs are standard when you order it, the X5 can be ordered with a "space saver" spare if you want it. It's a $150 option which is nice to have if you want to transition to non RFTs.
That's the good news. The bad news is if you have the non RFT 20" tires on your X5, you're going to have a hellava time (a) getting a flat one off and (b) lifting it into the back end of the car.
