Volk TE-37 Time Attacks
I picked them up for $1k. For $900, I had them stripped, the curbing fixed, and a 3 stage powder coat applied: chrome, a second color, and an automotive clear, all from www.powderbuythepound.com
. The effect is a black silver when the light hits it right. I then had the same things done to the aftermarket lug nuts and lock nuts ($120). Following that, I disassembled the center caps,
had the rings blasted, and then painted them Alpine White ($30). The centers themselves I had hard anodized to withstand the rigors of road use.
I then hit up EAS for some custom (appropriate) sized decals ($40). The results:
For those that are curious, no, the keys have no problems at all fitting over the lug/lock nuts. And there's no scratching, just pressure marks you can't even see.
