Haha that cable is for pdi. Inspections. When the car is droped off at the dealer . They have a battery disconnect switch attached there so the truck drivers can load and unload the cars hit one button and it disconnect power to the car for transport. Before you even get the car the dealer removes it and sends them back to bmw so they can be used again. So that wire is used for nothing after your car has been droped off at the dealer from the factory!
