If I were in his position (small shop without a staff person to answer calls and handle scheduling) I would find it annoying that someone would call expecting immediate service. That's not realistic and I just wouldn't expect any shop to fit me in their schedule immediately. And what's the big rush anyway??
You missed my first post explaining that I understood he had other business to handle. I'm not expecting him to jump through hoops for me at all. But if I have a limited window of time (lunch hour) and I'm simply asking if he can fit me in then why is the customer the asshole if the only time he has doesn't work out?

I had zero issues with him saying he's busy. It's the added comment that pissed me off. That said, Malek reached out to me to apologize for our misunderstanding and so I'm over it.
