IMO, you should fool around with camber adjustment without having the car aligned. Modifying camber also changes toe settings. Bad toe settings can have a pretty adverse impact on tire wear. Further, you want to ensure that both side have the same camber setting.
Yeah I hear you. Will be taking it in for alignment this week. Was just messing around and curious. Someone told me you can get the camber to -2 on stock suspension and though if so maybe I don't need the camber plates
