I think i'm getting the ruger for myself. But for my parents, i think the walther or the S&W is the way to go.
I like the walther because the grip is smaller for my mother. I like the S&W because i doubt it'll have any issues with anything. It's only for home protection. They currently have a Glock 22 but with the heavy spring it's difficult for them to manipulate the slide. It's a chore for them to practice with it. So i'm thinking the .22 will be more enjoyable. I know the .22 has little knock down power, but my thoughts are that no one wants to get shot with any caliber.
They have a pump action shotgun and want a pistol as well. What ever they get will likely have a laser on. Their thoughts are the sound of the shotgun rack and a red laser will motivate anyone in the house to leave.
P22 and pps fit my hands better than any gun I have ever held. I recommend both.
Im picking up a Glock 19 this month from a buddy for $300 which is a great deal and could not pass it up.
Next on my list is a Keltec Sub2000 . Anyone have one?
