You're referring to the Ruger 22/45 correct? If so, that and the Buckmark are the best semi-auto .22s on the market, IMO. They will eat just about any type of ammo you feed it, and will last years with proper care. Only draw back is the take down and cleaning procedure is a bit tedious in comparison to its competitors. I love mine, I always bring it with me on every range trip regardless of what else I'm shooting.
I have no experience with the M&P .22 unfortunately. I will say stay away from Sig Mosquitoes though. Mine only ate the more expensive CCI Minimags. Needless to say, that gun was sold.
