This really does sound quite bad.
However my own personal experience with them has been decent. Bought and paid fully for a set of BBS LM R + tires ($7xxx) which I confirmed were in stock at the time of payment. Sent wire transfer end jan and took them couple weeks to get the tires to mount the wheels onto and I'm currently tracking my FedEx delivery.
