i have a semi-cheap laser temp gun that i use primarily on my tires. doesnt have a reflectivity setting so is it ineffective at rotor temps as i was told yesterday at the track? reason i ask is im reading 600 temps which is great but when i came off a friend with a different gun saw my rotors glowing blue and tested with his gun and it wouldnt read it because it was over 1000. This was after a cool down lap as usual and pulling to my spot in the paddock so im guessing that means 1200 or more on the track?
