You just have to understand what BMW mission is and work toward it. Its a full company effort to build a car, and everything gets approved by the board of one worker can change that.
people have strengths and weaknesses, and they have experiences which pave their skillsets. It is real possibility that this AMG engineer knows how to make AMG-like cars, which are very different from BMW cars. Many people on this forum have chosen BMW cars time and time again, because they are different in a better way than the competitor, Audi, Merc, etc. To have the two brands merge in any way, can be seen as a threat to the uniqueness of the brand.
