Here is a picture to illustrate what I am talking about. When the collar (name I call it) is threaded on the valve stem finger-tight
, it doesn't close the gap enough to securely mount to the wheel. Looking at it some more, is the collar actually designed to tighten a few turns beyond finger-tight...kind of like a "locking" nut? I don't want to ruin the valve stem by over tightening the collar. Any help please!
