Obviously a more reasonable officer may not have hassled you for that, but I agree with other people that it probably was the German flag which got them riled up. We Americans tend to be a patriotic sort, and given the unfortunate association with German nationalism and a certain World War, I don't think your sticker aroused the warmest of feelings among this particular LEO. Just my 2 cents.
