Agreed. Issue is after 15 yrs everyone still expects him to be great like in his prime. Ask yourself this, Kobe today is still better than most starters for all other teams (minus the superstars) or not? If not then bench him and let him play Derek Fisher minutes. I say he is still better than most even at his non elite ability.
Kobe has lost athleticism, but is arguably better than before. They do need to keep his minutes down, but 32 or so would be fine. Taking him out at the end of the 1st and keeping him out for the first part of the 4th would probably be the norm, but the lakers typically struggle when he's not out there.
