I am glad the subject came up so I don't have to start a new thread.
Just the other night I found myself in a pinch and ran out of
Astroglide
so i reached for the spare bottle of
10W-60 in the trunk
it worked great (silky smooth)
BUT I was concerned of the
damage it may have caused
her 
This thread has taught me that it's all somewhat mineral oil anyway
