Just like people with the m3 GTS feeling overpriced. The actually components were not that much better to justify price over regular m3 in terms of performance. but the fact it is truly limited and scarce is what adds the value
In real life you never get your "value" back from money spent on modding, if these guys are so bloody good at doing cars up perhaps they could start their own company and maybe in 100 years they will convince the world that the cars they produce have that value. As for today - the value comes from quality and trusted brand name, support, parts, service etc.
Then again, there are plenty odd folks out there who would not mind blowing money (... like you said - inflated price?
) on one-off pieces, its just that this one looks like crap, hope it drives better.
