A lawyer will work since you don't want to deal with the court stuff. You might still get points taking off but they may cut the points in half. A lawyer will slow the progress of the paper work and delay it for 1 year or more. If they fine you guilty in the end you will still have to pay the ticket + lawyer fees. How fast was you going over the speed limit? Since your license is suspended it might cost you a arm and a leg for a lawyer.
