Anyways, I may as well answer OP (it is Christmas time). A warranty is an insurance policy. If you're asking on here, sounds like you should get it. If you're mech inclined I say no, maintain and fix it yourself and gamble that you won't have a repair that costs as much as the warranty would over time. Mine just expired, and knock on wood, this car, (just like my e46 that I drove across country 2x) has been very reliable.
