I have always thought of BMW as a car you drive because you love driving with reliability and cost of ownership way down the list of importance.

The E46 is such an easy car to work on (for the most part). The Audi's on the other hand, that's a completely different story. Was reading of a guy on another forum that had to take off his entire front end just to change something like the alternator
