Getting an E9X M3 to replace your daily beater and keeping the E46 as a garage queen? After you picked up the E9x M3 and realize how much better it is to the E46 in every way, you'll switch roles.

The M3 is thirsty but it's a high performance car so fuel economy is respectable. If you prefer rolling your own gears, the M3's manual is good. The DCT one of the best examples of these automated manuals on the market, so you might want to test drive it before making your purchase. The DCT is easy to operate so no need for any adjustments.

Current: E92 M3 DCT, Cayenne Turbo S, Ferrari F430 F1
Past:911 Turbo (996), C32 AMG, S2000, (E36) M3, Supra TT, MR2 Turbo
