Buying an M3 and not tracking is same thing as buying a super-duper gaming computer and using it only for web browsing.

In any case, I'd never tell anybody how they should be driving their cars. And your analogy is flawed, the M3 can be thoroughly enjoyed just on the country roads, or the Autobahn. Your analogy works if you'd buy a GT3 RS, etc... and still the majority of owners are probably not tracking it, and are still very happy.
