I didn't want to list the name of the other damper but it's a DA damper made by a direct race competitor of Ohlins. Having used 380/620, 600/800, 400/600, 400/672, and 500/800 rates on the e92 M3 with Moton, TCK, and JRZ dampers I still strongly believe ~350/~685 is a street-biased setup even on the Ohlins DFV. Just like on the Mini kit if you want to swap rates you have to buy four additional springs...
After all it is a Road & Track kit, not their Motorsport or PSI Raceline kit. 6kg and 12kg springs will be fine for a street cars that sees a few track days a year.
