I had tried the exact same size Michelin PS A/S+ tires 255/35 with 285/30 in the rear on the same wheels and I had a fair amount of rubbing in the I switched over 245/35 and have since been okay...
Never had any rubbing issues. Were you using spacers? I'm on stock suspension, no spacers.
