Just out of curiosity, would running a 100mm pulley(for example) on the 8555 allow for more engine RPM redline? I see the 8550 and 8555 both max at 100,000 rpm but the 8555 flows better up there. How would this affect low to mid performance?

Correct! The customer would not be happy with anything below 600 whp.
This car is a great test bed to find the maximum flow of each blower though.
