I'm assuming that with the next generation just around the corner people don't want to take an extra $12-$15k bath on getting a new one and losing it all come resale.
It's funny though as I've crazily thought about a 2013 myself since I love the 4.0 so much despite joining here to find out about the F82 (which sounds great). But dropping another $80k on the same car I've already got (inc 7%discount +tax) is something I think I'd come to regret. Just so hard to be patient...
