They absolutely suck in the wet, so if it rains, you're in trouble...
R-comps are more prone to pick up road debris and and as such are more prone to get a puncture. So consider the risk.
NT01 don't really need to be heat cycled or broken in.

NEVER drive behind a car running r-comps on the street...unless you want your front bumper to be continuously pelted by pebbles.
