According to John, owner of CCW, He has not seen cracks in similar areas on other C14 wheels.

I have a few sets of wheels, including another set dedicated for r comp tires. It's hard to count track days, but these wheels went through 2x sets of Yokohama AD08s and 1x set of Cup tires.

I've asked a few CCW users on and around the race track but none of them had issues. Based on my speculation, I think it may just be a batch of bad forgings. The cracks appear to be caused by high cycle fatigue which grew over time. I don't go over curbs aggressively or often to shorten the life of these wheels to just 15k miles.
