I see how you would want more friction for slicks etc., but I personally don't think running hawk or PFC or whatever will be faster than ST pads on a true street tire. And I only ran through 1/6-1/8 of the fronts at Barber in 3 hours on track.
I was to Roebling Road about 20 years ago and I do not remember it being very hard on brakes on our racecar or the Mustang Rental car that we were using
