The M3 has been my dream car since I was a little kid, and I absolutely love driving this car every day, but I have decided to shift my priorities to paying down debt, so I'll be picking up a beater and getting rid of my beloved M3. This was a tough decision, and my friends all think I'm crazy, but it's the right thing to do.
That being said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car other than the sunshade cover needing to be replaced, which I will discuss further down in this post. I've owned this car since December 2011 and have kept it very well maintained since I've owned it. I also have the carfax and the maintenance history from before I owned it. It has a clean history and has never been in an accident. It is also a low mileage car...73,500 on a 2004 model means roughly 8,000-9,000 miles per year.
This car is very well optioned and the only options it doesn't have is the 19" wheels and Navigation.

-12/20/11 - Alternator replaced
-3/26/12 - Three ignition coils replaced
-5/2/12 - Inspection II performed at 65,000 miles; main drive belt replaced; a/c belt replaced (this is a major service interval and costs around $2,700-$3,200 if performed at a dealership)
-6/11/12 - Front brake pads replaced at 68,500 miles with Akebono low-dust pads (lifetime replacement for free, I will include the box)
-6/21/12 - Sunroof motor replaced
-8/15/12 - all exhaust hangers & hardware replaced
-8/15/12 -Auto Dimming Mirror repaired by Radar-Mirror (seal worn, mercury leaked - common problem on E46 M3)
(I have a more detailed service history throughout the history of the car, plus the Carfax when I bought it at 57,597 miles which I can show you if interested)
-Sunshade clips broken - will need to replace - the clips that allow the sunshade to slide along the track when the sunroof opens and closes have bent, which means they need to be replaced. Depending on how handy you are...you can choose to only replace the clips (less than $50) or replace the whole sunshade. I will give you the sunshade that I had taken out so you can decide.
