Sounds like you should be happy with what you have and drive it. Make more money than step up to a faster car or get a cheaper american muscle.
The 911 is even a worse idea. Replace the burbo on a 911 of that year and you will be out 7k so good luck doing maintence
"Maintenence to keep my rig running", or rather "actual necessity to repair my DD" will be less painful to explain to my wife than a $15k outlay just to make my M3 faster. Does that make sense?
