Are some tuners only using 231e update on the DME and hence the quick times? If so, shouldn't all the modules be updated together to the latest software version rather than picking and choosing?
My dealer told me it took 2.5 hours, but they only charged me for an hour of labor since it was basically a "hook up, read, set and forget"--where they just left the car there while the program was "installing."
Not sure if that helps...just what my dealer told me.
