I think there are two sides of this story. IF the op is being truthfull and disclosing all information then BMW should step up to the plate. IF the op is not disclosing all of the information and dealership knows more about this the what is being told, then shame on him. I haven't seen that much rust on a car in a VERY LONG time. I see that mostly in older vehicles (over 10 years old)
