Looks like I have to send my Mossberg 930 in. It's been misfiring like crazy. 2-3 shells on each round of trap. I first thought it was my Estate ammo, but it still does the same thing with Federal, Winchester and Remington. And now a new problem - trigger clicks but the hammer does not drop.
Read a bunch of forums and everyone is saying - gun issue caused by excessive oil and gunk build up. A little far fetched for a new gun, but I decided to take the trigger assembly and bolt carrier group apart and see wtf.
I'm not a gunsmith by any means, but holy crap. That shit looks jacked! Just emailed pictures Mossberg support to see what they say.
Off-center hammer wear.
Slide shock absorber (not sure what exact name is)
Firing pin safety (again, not sure what its called and can't find a shop manual anywhere)
