When I chose to go with DAS I had checked with Intercity and they were close to 50% more expensive and it would've taken longer for delivery. The M3 was used so I chose DAS. I did pay extra to (supposedly) get my car on the top level of the trailer. The worse part of using DAS was the whole three weeks I had the feeling that I should have used intercity even if it was more expensive. When I used Intercity the 'worry factor' was much less.

Just FYI to interested parties, DAS Auto is one of the "open-truck" carriers that "consolidates" cars along the way (i.e. - you car is moved on and off to different trucks along the way at various hubs).
Good call going with InterCity, once it's on the enclosed carrier it doesn't come off until it's at your doorstep.
