At the
AMI Leipzig show I heard a cool story from BMW... apparently the e30 was built by one of its engineers when his four door e30 was no longer big enough for his growing family. So he went to work making himself a one off, "e30 touring"... after he was finished so many of the BMW bosses liked his work... they green lighted the e30 touring for production. And now we are seeing the
fifth generation F30 touring thanks to that crazy BMW engineer!
