The Macht Schnell performance underdrive pulleys are machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum, resulting to be strong as well as lightweight to limit parasitic drag from the accessories within a moderate level for maximum performance. The pulleys are T3 hard anodized for additional strength, anti-corrosion, and wear resistance after machining and engraving. With a DualDrive design, a gain of 9-14 HP and 7-9ft. lbs TQ can be expected resulting from a reduction in power required to turn accessories. Also it increases the lifespan of accessories due to lower speed while leaving all factory harmonics/balancing undisturbed.
The Macht Schnell pulleys maintain proper alternator speed, allowing sustained levels to sensitive control modules. Proper cooling temperatures are retained as well. This application is completely bolt-on. New belts are included.
