Running in the wet is a good learning opportunity for car control because everything happens at slower speeds. But it's a real PITA when all of your stuff (jack, tools, chair, floormats, tire totes, etc.) gets wet sitting in the paddock. Happened to me last fall at Watkins Glen during a two-day event. I ended up bringing my soaked track tires in the tire totes (also soaked) up to my hotel room using the hotel's luggage cart so they wouldn't be screwing up my car's interior overnight. You should have seen the looks on the hotel staff's faces!
