too late... BMW already is going down that path unfortunately.

From cheap and extremely thin layers of paint, to de-wiring cars that were not ordered with certain packages, etc, etc, BMW is trying to squeeze as many pennies as they can while the iron is hot.

once they start losing sales, I'm sure they will go back to what made them great....or so I hope.
