Back to the subject. I think the engine discussion about the engine is a moot point. It WILL be better than the S65.
The real question is weight. I think the evolution of the M3 from a homo (abbreviated because I can't spell the entire word)
special to a dual purpose family car is one that I can live with. But if the weight keeps climbing then the M3 will suffer the same fate as the M5 in becoming a luxo-barge.
IMO, 3700lbs is right on the brink of what you can call nimble with 2 wheel drive. I think it shows its weight with the brake fade from light track use among other things.
