MOTION CONTROL SUSPENSION (MCS)
The new Motion Control damper lineup has now been officially announced. Our initial lineup of dampers will include the core components for our premium street, club race, and professional race customers. All dampers in this initial release have remote reservoirs and the features you should expect on a true high-end damper, including large shafts, structural strut housings, durable finishes, and high quality hoses and swivels at all locations. Intense attention to detail in machining and building operations ensure precision and repeatability in the performance of our MCS dampers. For the user, this translates to a long-lasting part that won’t suffer from performance degradation between rebuilds and will have a consistent feel in both adjustment clicks on the knobs and suspension feel on the track.
The complete line of MCS dampers is manufactured in the USA and will begin shipping approximately December 1, 2011. MCS non-remote and 4-Way dampers will be introduced later in 2012.
The MCS 2-Way damper is far from basic. This damper set features a full 15 clicks of both rebound and compression adjustment over a wide range, specific to each vehicle’s specific requirements. Dampers are more than just number of adjustments and just click count – the shape of the resulting curves is specifically engineered to give your car the most grip through the range of surface conditions and dynamic inputs your vehicle experiences. 2-Way dampers are available for many popular sportscars.
MCS 2-Way Custom dampers incorporate the same design features and precision construction of the 2-Way, but are specifically made for low production volume fitments. These applications include vehicles with unique performance needs, such as alternate damping characteristics required for a specific set of race series regulations.
Finally, the MCS 3-Way is the ultimate damper for professional racers or anyone that demands ultimate performance. The 3-Way remote reservoir canister has been designed to give the engineer, suspension tuner, or driver more control over the vehicle platform by adding adjustment to the low-speed compression damping performance.
