I upgraded from a 2000 Toyota Avalon to my 2011 328i alpine white on red with M sport, fully loaded on a lease.
LOVE IT!!!!!
You will not be disappointed even if you do not get a M3. trust me.
Obviously though, my next step is hopefully M4 when lease is done or used M3 with the V8 engine.
