Buying dedicated winter vs all season will give you an excuse to drive the car when there is 2"+ snow on the ground. This is exactly why I went with A/S. I dont want a broken lip, or a 360...
I have the MichelinPilot Sport A/S Plus as my winter setup, and I can go by on 2" snow in an emergency. Driving this car on more snow than this is taking unnecessary risk IMO.
