This is the final reminder that the 1st Annual "DubRun" to Hawk's Nest, NY is one week away - Sunday, October 23rd (rain or shine).
The weather is looking great to detail the cars Saturday and attend the cruise on Sunday!

8:00am Sunday, October 23rd
The event will start at the Meadtown Shopping Center (1500 State Rt. 23S, Butler, NJ) where everyone can grab breakfast and lunch at Kinnelon Bagels, pack up the coolers and receive their event bag before the cruise begins at 9:30am. Event bags will be handed out and will include raffle prizes, a printed copy of the recommended cruise route, a High Point State Park map and sponsor material.

Kinnelon Bagels will be selling pre-packaged breakfast and lunch combo deals in the parking lot.

In order to organize the cruise better and avoid major traffic, leaving parked locations will occur in groups by car make.
When the cruise starts we will leave the parking lot(s) in these separate groups to space out the cruise.
VW’s will leave first, followed by Audi, followed by BMW & Mini Coopers, then folowed by Porsches & Exotic cars.
-Perform a safety self-inspection (full tank of gas, full oil / coolant / brake fluid levels, correct tire pressure and condition, tight lug nuts, brake function properly, headlights / turn signals / brake lights function properly, overall mechanical condition, etc.)
-Absolutely no passing on single lane roads by crossing the double yellow line, this route contains many dangerous blind curves
-Avoid tailgating; maintain a 2-3 car length on windy, single lane roads
-Avoid cell phone usage (calling / texting / cameras / internet)
-Please leave your headlights and fog lights on during cruise for highest possible visibility
-Keep your car clear of loose objects which may cause a distraction (loose items flying around from your door pockets / back seats / trunk / dash / storage trays)
-Secure all car cleaning products for any quick detailing (photo / video shoot at High Point State Park)
-If you have a personal radio, please use it to communicate with friends or the pack during the cruise (channel will be announced the day of the event)
-Have active Registration and Insurance cards readily available
Photo / Video
There will be a professional videographer onsite (RKR Productions) the entire day to create our event DVD and “DubRun” commercial. If you have cameras or video cameras, please bring them to the event; the event organizers will be looking to collect as much video footage as possible. After the cruise ends at the Meadtown Shopping Center for the final photo / video opportunity, the event organizers will look to copy the footage for use in the event DVD and “DubRun” commercial. Please post your online photo albums in the DubRun threads after the event.

TeamEuro Trash is running a contest: The 1st annual Vag invitational. Open to all European cars. Winner gets a GoPro Motorsport 1080p kit and the coveted peoples champ trophy. Wondering how to enter? Send 1 high quality photo of your car to firstname.lastname@example.org. This will be a playoff system. After each round winners will be be able to send in 1 more picture for the next round. Mod lists will be added after the 2nd round. We will pick what cars get in, people will vote who moves on. Every match up will be posted on FB with a poll. Cars will be drawn at random to start the brackets. We will email all contestants what date their car will be up. We will have prizes from other vendors as well. No key rings i promise. Last 2 will have a one week voting period and winner will be announced on super bowl sunday. Good luck, send in those entries and pass this around!!! Deadline for entry is Oct 29th. Contest starts first week of Nov.
