Something I realized after reading some of these threads about break-in are that my car doesn't have a sticker on the windshield that talks about the break-in. Guess that means I don't have one.
Actually, I am doing the 1,200 break-in per what everyone has said. No taking her over 4,500 rpms, no going over 105mph, yada yada yada. After that I could care less what BMW says they think I should be doing. 1,200 is ridiculous to begin with. And then people are asking if they should continue breaking a car in for another 1,800 miles? That's just crazy. I don't care if I blow the motor, I'm not going to continue to baby a car after 1,200 miles.
