It has happened to me in the past
Had someone who kept telling me I should ship even though payment hasn't cleared and i could trust him etc etc. payment ended up bouncing. He ended up giving me his CC info and i used my SquareUp app to charge it. wasn't that much of a PITA. if i had shipped it and his payment bounced...that would have been a real PITA.
it was for a $3k sale of rims.
Honestly, if I had shipped, and it bounced and he never paid me again, I would have drove up to NorCal and knocked on his door....
