Intel recently released their update that should solve the Blue Screening issue for their 320 line of SSDs.
If you work on one document a time, then yes SSD can be over kill. But, if you are multitasking and have many programs open at the same time, then SSD does a much better job.
Web pages, not all pages( Craigslist and a like do not count), load faster with SSD then they do with HHD. Open a FireFox/IE/Opera?etc with 6 tabs to 6 different webpages. Now close them, but do "Save and Quit". Now open web browser again, and watch how fast all 6 pages load with ssd.
