UPDATE: We are now working in conjunction with Chilis of Milford to support their Touch-a-Truck event, which raises money for St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
The Second Annual Car Show held at the University of New Haven in West Haven, CT. The event is hosted by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Chapter.
The proceeds are used to fund the endeavors of the ASME student chapter, mainly their SAE Supermileage project, a hand-built lightweight vehicle with the goal of achieving the best fuel economy possible within a stringent set of rules. This vehicle has achieved 500+ MPG already, with goals of 1500+. It will be on display at the event.
This is a laid-back, family friendly event. Taken just seriously enough, with organized car grouping and a copious amount of fairly-judged awards, but not too much to run the fun.
