It also strikes me as maybe not the best thing for the engine if you're in constant city traffic--you would think the repetitive cranking over/restarting of the engine would create excess stress or wear, all in the name of relative increased gas mileage. Uh, it defaults to OFF every time you get in the car. Pressing the button turns it ON! Again, it's not about the mileage, it's about the greenhouse gasses.
